J W Designs was created to share my love of jewellery and design. With a background in science, a passion for design and a love of all things creative I am intrigued with the way the metal elements can be altered and shaped to create beautiful pieces of jewellery.

Originally from Scotland and now based in Cornwall most of my designs are inspired by natural elements, in particular the stunning land and seascapes of Cornwall. The intriguing shapes formed in nature have always fascinated me, and I love incorporating these patterns into my designs, creating enchantingly natural and elegant jewellery. 

My jewellery is designed to be simple and wearable. Jewellery should be worn effortlessly, either as an individual statement piece or layered with some of your other favourite pieces to create a look that is as unique as you.

J W Designs Jewellery is made using ethically sourced materials, from UK suppliers.  Each piece of jewellery is designed and made by hand using traditional silver smithing techniques.

When I’m not working on my designs, I spend time exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall. My family are regular visitors and we love long walks on the beach with our crazy Airedale Terriers, Lottie and Susie.
