Caring for your jewellery

Silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time, but can this can also occur if your jewellery is exposed to creams, lotions, oil, perfumes, suntan lotion, aftersun, makeup, and household cleaners.

Please try to avoid:

• Wearing you jewellery when in swimming pools, jacuzzis or hot tubs

• Wearing your jewellery when participating in sports

• Bending or stretching cuffs and bangles as this can cause cracking or snapping

• Running charms back and forth across chains or bangles as this can wear away the silver

To help you look after your jewellery try to store your jewellery separately, away from other pieces to avoid scratching or tangling. Keeping it in its original packing can help.  

To clean your jewellery either use a dedicated silver polishing cloth or clean very gently in mild soapy water with a soft toothbrush.
